City Steps Open House

I went to the City Steps Open House tonight and peeked in to see some of the new condos for sale. They're pretty nice. Some have views of downtown Tacoma. It looks like you can get some pretty nice upgrades (for a little extra $ of course). Overall I think the condos are cool. If you haven't seen them, they're on Yakima (right up the hill from UWT and The Harmon). Afterwards I went to Barnes & Noble (in Lakewood, although I like the Federal Way one too) and gave them yet more of my hard earned money. Man, I just can't resist that place. I'm a sucker for some new good books...

Chilly

Whew, it's cold out here in Tacoma. Oddly enough, driving home was a breeze with so many people either not going to work or staying home from school today. If only traffic was like this everyday... Ah, the dreams of a Western WA commuter. Thankfully, it sounds like we're going to get our good old rainy, gray days back soon. I'm happy about that, Asian dudes like me don't do cold very well. Not much else going on other than an exciting game of broomball with the guys this weekend. See ya!

Stock Pick

My dad is always bugging me for a good stock pick, so here goes. Lowe's (LOW) is solid. They've been profitable for quite some time now. The numbers are strong although there will probably be some slowing due to the housing slowdown and just the fact that it's harder to continually put up big numbers as the company has already experienced tremenedous growth. They still have some growth ahead of them being that there are fewer stores than their rival Home Depot (HD). It certainly seems that the stores are always across the street from each other, but Lowe's does have fewer stores and can still pull market share from HD. I think Lowe's is at a fair price relative to future growth and future Earnings Per Share (EPS) growth. So, take a look at the numbers and see if Lowe's fits in your portfolio.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Well, it's cold, really cold. There's snow, ice and all other cold related things going on. The Seahawks won last night. Hasselbeck started out pretty shaky but soon settled down. Alexander had a great night, hopefully he can start stringing some good games together now. Off to see how bad things are out there on the forzen tundra...

MNF

For those of you living in a cave, the Seahawks are playing tonight on Monday Night Football. Hasselbeck is back along with Alexander. It's starting to look like the team that we were used to seeing. Hopefully they can patch things up. The O line and defense have holes the size of Hutchinson and Tubbs... Hmmmm, kinda iffy times for our team.

Weather

If it's not heavy rains turning to showers leading to floods, it's ice, snow and even worse traffic! I'm not sure what's going on, but Washington seems to have the Biblical catastrophic weather going on now. I think Milton's forecast shows hellfire and brimstone with a chance of locusts...

Google

I forgot to add that Google just went over $500 a share today. Maybe I should've bought a few months ago...

Construction

Just an FYI, this thing is still under construction, so please bear with the progress...

Welcome!

Well, I guess I have a blog now. It seems like it's such a pain to try to keep in touch with everyone. Soooooo, I thought it may be fun to try to keep in touch and disseminate random weird stuff via this blog. So, feel free to post and have fun with it.

Thanks for viewing,
