Get Rid of the Garbage!

So courtesy of my Dad's Target gift card (thanks Dad!), my wife and I did some serious spring cleaning today. We went through our garage and tossed (and donated what we could) a serious amount of rubbish. We're talking about stuff we NEVER use. We bought a bunch of storage bins and baskets for the stuff we do use and neatly organized the whole darn garage. A huge improvement if I don't say so myself. Just a couple of weeks ago we donated who knows how many garbage bags of clothes. There really is something uplifting about getting rid of clutter. Here in America we are literally overwhelmed with crap. Stop sitting around and get rid of your junk. No, you don't need a storage space. You need some Hefty garbage bags, some elbow grease, and a few trips to Goodwill. Someone else out there really needs the stuff you never use. And oddly enough, you'll feel a million times better when you see how your place used to look before you messed it up with the mountain of filth that you purchased and left rotting in your home. Get to work already! You'll feel better, trust me.

I'm still working on aquiring crap so I can someday get rid of it, but when I do have enough I will take your advice.

Hey stranger! Just be careful, the stuff multiplies and before you know it, it's kicked you out of your own house.

Yeah I'm experiencing that with one of my roomies. She filled up two bedrooms when she first moved in, but she's gradually downsizing so I can rent the room. It's so great to find you on here; I love your writing.

Thanks, hurry and get some stuff on your blog so that I can comment and make you feel real smart! By the way, Dave Ramsey (author, financial guy) is from Nashville I believe and I'm a big fan of his. You may need his advice now that you have grown up bills.

Try having a couple kids..the shit really starts adding up. We have this rule in our house. That whenever the children get something new (bday's, Xmas)..they have to give something to charity. Example..Jackson recieved 24 gifts for this birthday from family/friends. He now has to go through his things and donate 24 old things, toys he no longer plays with.

Try donating to Child Haven if you have clothes, big kids go there as well..they need everything really. They do not resell like Salvation Army and it all goes to kids, big and small that needs it.
